Go back to Flatbush! You're not welcome here.

I ran across an article in the Deadspin baseball section yesterday that I found both amusing and jaw-dropping.

My sports bar of choice when in the Los Angeles area? Big Wangs, of course. Now with two locations — Hollywood and North Hollywood — making it more convenient to head on over to watch Game 5 of the NLCS, and enjoy a heaping basket of Wangs Wings. Of course, if you're planning on wearing your Dodgers jersey in the establishment, be prepared to be thrown out on your keester. That's right: No Dodgers gear allowed.

One of the most popular sports bars in Los Angeles has banned its patrons from wearing Dodger gear in its establishment. If that doesn't spell crazy with a capitol "Stupid", get ready for the icing on the cake. You can't wear any Dodger paraphernalia, but you can, of course, wear any other MLB gear in there. This whole story entirely sums up what you and I both know is entirely wrong with Southern California.

Southern California is such an insipid, vapid, cesspool of a place that they actually have rules that don't allow you to support the home team. And you know what is even more fucked up? I guarantee that this place doesn't go out of business.

I almost moved to L.A. in 2005. I didn't. This story validates my reasoning.
